INDIA. GVK Lounge at Mumbai Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport received two accolades at the recent World Travel Awards 2017 in Vietnam. GVK Lounge, which is operated by Travel Food Services and Performa, was named the World’s Leading Airport Lounge – First Class for the third consecutive year.
The joint venture also claimed the award for Asia’s Leading Airport Lounge and was nominated for the World’s Leading Airport Lounge – Business Class category for the third time in a row.
The awards celebrate excellence across key sectors of the travel, tourism and hospitality industry.
GVK Lounge aims to offer ‘state-of-the-art’ amenities and services including concierge, a range of intercontinental cuisines, and a spa.
At this year’s FAB Awards, organised by The Moodie Davitt Report and the Foodie Report, Travel Food Services’ Indonesian Festival at GVK Lounge was Regional Winner (Middle East & India) in the F&B Marketing & Promotions Campaign of the Year category.
