JAMAICA. Moët Hennessy Travel Retail has unveiled the first-ever Hennessy boutique in Americas travel retail. The 56sq m Cognac shop-in-shop – which includes a tasting bar – is situated in the newly opened Dufry departures store at Sangster International Airport.
The boutique offers travellers a selection of travel retail-exclusive Cognacs, including James Hennessy and Hennessy X.X.O, as well as Hennessy Pure White, which is exclusively distributed in the Caribbean and Mexico.

The boutique houses the Jamaica launch of the ‘Hennessy Art of Gifting’. Available in a few key locations globally, the experience allows customers to personalise their Hennessy X.O and Hennessy X.X.O purchases by adding Jamaica-inspired medallions and pendants to the bottles.
An inauguration event featuring a ribbon-cutting ceremony was held on 27 April with representatives from Moët Hennessy and Dufry in attendance.

As part of the event, travellers were offered cocktails based on Hennessy Pure White.
Hennessy’s visibility at Montego Bay Airport is bolstered by Hennessy Pure White out-of-home advertising in arrivals, departures and outdoor billboards.

Moët Hennessy President Asia Pacific, Travel Retail & Private Sales Laurent Boidevezi said: “We are thrilled to open our first-ever Hennessy boutique in the Americas travel retail market at Montego Bay Airport. Jamaica is a one-of-a-kind destination for the discerning Hennessy customer, and we believe that the boutique provides a one-of-a-kind immersion that elevates the Hennessy experience.”
Dufry General Manager for the Caribbean Jan Antonio Nieto commented: “We are pleased to partner with Hennessy to offer this unique, bespoke experience to our customers. The Hennessy boutique in Montego Bay Airport is just one example of how we are continuously striving to offer our customers the best possible shopping experience.”

He added: “We are confident that this new boutique will become a must visit destination for all travellers passing through Montego Bay Airport.”
