Moët Hennessy, Imperial Duty Free and Heinemann embrace artistry to celebrate Lunar New Year at Sheremetyevo

RUSSIA. Hennessy Cognac is celebrating the Lunar New Year with a high-profile campaign through February at Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport with Imperial Duty Free and Heinemann.

Moët Hennessy Travel Retail Europe’s dramatic Terminal D promotion features the work of contemporary Chinese artist Guang-Yu Zhang. As reported, Hennessy is collaborating with Zhang to mark the Year of the Pig. Zhang draws inspiration from both eastern and western cultures in his work, using a mix of traditional painting and digital media.

Hennessy’s double distillation is encapsulated in Zhang’s magnificent dreamlike work.

The Sheremetyevo promotion honours the Year of the Pig. Zhang’s work interprets the New Year as part of the eternal cycle of life, rendered in a dreamlike, multi-layered scene. The present bridges past and future, heaven touches earth, and fulfilment and togetherness are evoked in two concentric circles – an artistic presentation of Hennessy’s double distillation.

The Cognac house is further depicted by handcrafted oak barrels, grapes and a copper pot still; these are complemented by auspicious motifs such as the crane, goldfish and red lantern.
