Other new concepts include local favourite Better Burger, which features fresh New Zealand produce and will be located airside at the international terminal. Mexico celebrates the fresh and lighter side of Mexican cuisine and features a colourful and vibrant design to reflect its namesake nation. It will be located airside at the international terminal.

Finally, New Orleans-inspired southern fried chicken and waffles will be offered at quick service concept Orleans Chicken & Waffles, to be located in the domestic terminal.

“We will be showcasing the best New Zealand tastes and flavours alongside an increased variety of popular international cuisines, all set in a modern and vibrant dining environment,” said Auckland Airport General Manager Retail and Commercial Richard Barker.

“There will be something for everyone, with a choice of in-terminal restaurants, casual dining, fast food, and grab-and-go outlets.

Delaware North also announced contract wins at Wellington’s Westpac Stadium and Queensland hotel Pinewood Lodge.

“Our business in the region is poised for an exciting phase of growth that will create employment opportunities for hospitality and food services workers,” said Delaware North Australia, New Zealand and Singapore Managing Director Gary Brown.
