Accessories company Mitch & Marc Australia is flying high on Singapore Airlines (SIA) with a five-strong product assortment in the latest KrisShop catalogue, including a chronograph watch and a watch winder.
The established supplier produces a wide range of branded timepieces, jewellery boxes, watch boxes and watch winders, as well as travel accessories such as wallets and luggage tags.
In its June–August 2008 KrisShop catalogue SIA is carrying a Mitch & Marc chronograph watch in its assortment as an inflight exclusive, retailing at S$188. The watch features a stainless steel bezel, distinctive coloured hour, minute and second hands and a white genuine leather strap. It is water resistant to 100m.
In its mail-order selection Singapore Airlines offers four Mitch & Marc products:
Watch collector’s gift: This machine has six watch winders and retails at S$2,888 via KrisShop mail orderThe Chinoserie Milan Jewellery and Watch Box, retailing at S$218, is covered in fine Italian black embossed croco leather. The interior is lined with beige suede and has space to store rings, accessories and three watches. A secret compartment can be found beneath the top lid, as well as a removable miniature Chinoserie box.
The Ryan London Watch Box (S$208) is made in fine Italian calf leather. The black box features a top glass display and a fully-lined suede interior with watch pillows to protect eight timepieces. It is secured with a lock and key.
The Mitch & Marc Watch Winder (S$1,680) incorporates four winders rotating at five-minute intervals with resting time of 25 minutes. Three functional settings are available: clockwise, anti-clockwise and bi-directional alternating mode. It is electrically operated (220–240V) and the dimensions are 49cm x 30cm x 17.5cm.
For serious watch collectors, the airline offers a bigger version of the above-mentioned watch winder incorporating six winders, priced at S$2,888. Dimensions are 32.5cm x 22.5cm x 53.5cm.
Mitch & Marc displayed its range of watches and watch winders at the TFWA Asia Pacific show in May 2008. As well as Singapore Airlines, the company’s products are carried onboard Qantas and Malaysia Airlines.
