Mäurer & Wirtz appoints new Managing Director and Chief Sales Officer

New Mäurer & Wirtz Chief Sales Officer Marc Schütz will help drive the fragrance house’s “internationalisation programme forwards”

Fragrance house Mäurer & Wirtz has appointed Steffen Seifarth as Managing Director and Marc Schütz as Chief Sales Officer.

Seifarth, whose appointment became effective as of 1 September, previously worked as a freelance consultant after spending a number of years at the Coty/Lancaster-Group. He served as General Manager Germany before taking overall entrepreneurial responsibility for the prestige sector in Central and Eastern Europe.

“We are convinced that – thanks to his experience in the marketing and sales area as well as his extensive network – Steffen Seifarth will be in the position to maintain the positive development of Mäurer & Wirtz and continue to lead our company to a prosperous and secure future,” said Mäurer & Wirtz Managing Partner Dr. Hermann Wirtz.

Schütz took up his new position on 1 October and will now lead national and international sales. He started working as National Key Account Manager at Coty in April 2000. There he fulfilled various sales roles before becoming Sales Director for Germany and Austria in 2010. He later took on the overall management of the Austrian business.

“We are delighted to have appointed Marc Schütz to lead our sales division through the challenges of the current market situation and to drive our internationalisation programme forwards,” said Wirtz. “[He] represents an important addition to our management team and we are delighted to welcome him on board.”
