MarketPlace Logan launches online ordering platform BOS2GO

USA. Retail developer MarketPlace Logan has launched online ordering platform BOS2GO, a contactless way to order food and travel essentials at Boston Logan International Airport. The platform is powered by Grab, the airport ecommerce platform by Servy, and AtYourGate, Boston Logan’s airport food delivery service.

Travellers can visit www.bos2go.com from any mobile or electronic device and order food or retail items from any terminal for pick up or delivery to a designated gate (pick up is free; US$.99 delivery fee charge).

MarketPlace Development President Paul McGinn said: “We continue to elevate the travellers’ experience with enhanced digital options while keeping safety top of mind. By introducing BOS2GO, this innovative online platform will provide convenient and contactless dining and retail offerings that are unique to our passengers, making it easy and comfortable for those who are traveling through Boston Logan.”

Travellers can order from local names like B.GOOD, Bruins Bar, Lucca, Mija Cantina & Tequila Bar, Monica’s Mercato, and Wahlburgers along with national brands including Peet’s Coffee, Camden Foods and Wolfgang Puck Pizza. More locations will be added in the coming months.

Hudson is extending its PPE vending machine offer across the airport

In addition to the BOS2GO launch, MarketPlace Logan has introduced several new amenities that are now available to all travellers. A new XpresCheck COVID-19 testing site has opened in Terminal C, in addition to the two available in Terminal E. Located pre-security, these offer: the Rapid Molecular COVID-19 Test, the Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) Test and the Blood Antibody Test (Terminal E); the Rapid Molecular COVID-19 Test, the Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) Test (Terminal C)

In addition, PPE vending machines by Hudson have been introduced to terminals A and B. These offer individual and bulk packaged masks, sanitary wipes, hand sanitisers, latex gloves, multi-use thermometers, portable and rechargeable UV-C sanitisers for mobile devices and personal items.

Hudson has also added COVID -19 test kits to purchase for home use. Partner DiaCarta has developed and manufactured a QuantiVirus Real Time PCR Coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) test that is both FDA and CE certified.

In other news, restaurants and retail stores continue to reopen at Boston Logan. A new arrival in Terminal C is Potbelly Sandwich Shop, located across from Mjia Cantina & Tequila Bar.

This joins the recent reopenings of Kelly’s Roast Beef, Lucca, Monica’s Mercato, Sullivan’s and Not Your Average Joes, as well as shops iStore, Michael Kors, New Balance and Vineyard Vines.
