MarketPlace Development stages inaugural concessions awards at Boston Logan International

USA. MarketPlace Development has staged its first awards ceremony, recognising some of the outstanding performers in retail and food & beverage at Boston Logan International Airport.

The company, developer and manager of the Boston Logan Concessions Program (BOS Shop Dine), staged its inaugural Concessions Excellence Award Winners Dinner at the Hilton Boston Logan in Boston, Massachusetts.

MarketPlace Development said the awards were presented to Boston Logan retailers, quick-service food operators and restaurateurs which demonstrated exceptional performance in both operations and customer service.

The Vineyard Grille team won US$2,500 as part of their prize for being named 2018 Merchant of the Year.

Among the award recipients were the 2018 Merchant of the Year, Vineyard Grille, situated in Terminal C at the airport. Vineyard Grille is a wine bar serving regional cuisine with a wine list of Massachusetts-produced bottles as well as others from the New England region.

MarketPlace Development President Paul McGinn said: “Our entire team at MarketPlace Development is proud to acknowledge the merchants who continue to deliver a first-class shopping and dining experience for passengers, day in and day out.

“The annual Concessions Excellence Awards are an important way for us to recognise and celebrate all of the merchants and operators who work tirelessly to elevate the passenger experience at Boston Logan.”
