US. MAG USA and Gideon Toal Management Services have partnered to open the Escape Lounge PBI at Palm Beach International Airport. Located just past security on Concourse B, it is open to all passengers regardless of airline or status.
The amenities on offer include hot and cold food, premium alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, ample power outlets, high-speed wifi and digital flight information. There is also access to 7,000+ digital publications in 60+ languages.
The lounge features plush and relaxed seating, which MAG USA said was inspired by the “serene aesthetic” of local beaches.
Passengers departing through Concourse C at Palm Beach International can access Escape Lounge PBI by presenting a valid boarding pass at the Concourse B security checkpoint.
MAG USA CEO Martin Jones said: “As travellers start flying again, an Escape Lounge is the perfect place for them to enjoy their airport experience in a relaxing and controlled environment which provides all the amenities they could want in one place. Palm Beach County Director of Airports Laura Beebe said: “We are pleased to welcome the Escape Lounge experience to Palm Beach International. Although many lounges and restaurants remain closed at airports throughout the United States due to reduced passenger demand, PBI continues to strive to provide the services desired by passengers while ensuring that proper protocols have been established for a safe and pleasurable travel experience.”
Access to Escape Lounge PBI costs US$40 if booked in advance at escapelounges.com or US$45 if paid at the door.
Escape Lounges are part of the American Express Global Lounge Collection giving American Express Platinum Card Members complimentary access, along with two guests, to all US locations.
