SOUTH KOREA. Lotte Duty Free’s popular LDF Live broadcasting programme will break new ground tonight by presenting a ‘love counselling’ talk show.
The programme, to be shown at 10pm local time, will examine the impact of scent and alcohol on love.
Oh Jin-seung, a psychiatrist from ‘Doctor Friends’, a YouTube programme with 902,000 subscribers, will appear on the programme. Oh will be joined by Signiel Seoul’s Chief Bartender Kim Ji-yu in a demonstration of cocktail-making along with recommendations for cocktails that are good for dating, and how to enjoy ‘Home Tending (Home + Bar Tending)’. Signiel Seoul, a luxury landmark hotel in Lotte World Tower, is operated by Lotte Hotels & Resorts.
The programme, themed ‘Night Love Duty Free’, will offer up to -40% discounts on popular perfumes such as Moncler, Buly, and Trudon and various prizes.
Lotte Duty Free pledged to provide advice for fun, healthy and safe dating on the programme.
Through LDF LIVE every Thursday, Lotte Duty Free Shop offers a variety of products, including cosmetics, fashion and other items, and travel packages, as well as generous discounts to customers.
For customers preparing for an overseas trip, the travel retailer is promoting Lotte Internet Duty Free’s liquor reservation service. This allows customers to conveniently purchase popular products such as Dewar’s Double Double and Johnnie Walker.
In addition, customers who participate in the talk show broadcast will be presented with Lotte gift certificates through a lottery. A giveaway event will be held through Lotte Duty Free’s official SNS channels until 12 December.
A Lotte Duty Free spokesperson said, “After its debut in 2021, LDF LIVE has been steadily gaining popularity, with the average number of viewers per episode approaching 12,000 this year. This will increase customer satisfaction with duty free shopping.”
