SOUTH KOREA. Lotte Duty Free has introduced Swiss cosmetics brand Valmont into South Korean travel retail.
Valmont is a luxury anti-ageing brand which is present in 52 countries worldwide.
Valmont is now exclusively available in Lotte Duty Free’s online and offline travel retail stores including the 11th floor beauty department of its Lotte Duty Free Myeong-dong flagship store in Seoul and Lotte Internet Duty Free ecommerce platform.
To celebrate the launch, Lotte Duty Free ran a social media competition on SNS from 21-25 April. Participants were encouraged to tag three friends on Lotte Duty Free’s Valmont post. Three winners were selected on 26 April and rewarded with the brand’s best-selling Valmont Prime Renewing Pack 50ml.
Valmont leverages 30 years of cellulotherapy expertise to offer effective high-performance anti-ageing products. It combines Alpine glacial water with Phyto-alpine plants and leverages DNA and RNA science to stimulate cells and fight the effects of skin ageing.
Its Triple DNA, Zinc DNA and Copper DNA innovations help repair and regenerate the skin, creating a long-lasting radiant effect.

Some of the brand’s hero products include the Prime Renewing Pack and Moisturising Booster. The company’s popular Alessandrite and Jazzy Twist fragrances are also available at Lotte Duty Free.
“I am very proud to be launching Valmont for the first time in the South Korean duty free market,” said Lotte Duty Free Head of Product Division Lee Seung-Guk. “We will make every effort to prepare for the return of both foreign tourists and Korean customers, so they can have access to a wide variety of luxury brands.”
