Lindt aims to drive market share in Asia with gifting novelties

Lindt & Sprüngli Travel Retail is to launch a selection of new ranges in response to research underlining the importance of gifting to Asian travellers.

New products, which include the Lindor Deluxe Heart, Lindt Mini Pralines and a special-edition Chinese New Year gift set, will be highlighted at the upcoming TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition (H2, basement 2).

Lindt builds on one of its popular Lindor lines with a Deluxe Heart in 200g size

The Lindor Deluxe Heart 200g is available in red, filled with Lindor milk, and gold, containing Lindor Milk, Surfin, White and Hazelnut.

Lindt Mini Pralines 155g offers a selection of 32 miniature chocolates. The product is available in gold and pink; a multipack of three x 44g will also be launched.

Lindt Mini Pralines, described as an informal gift, are housed in modern packaging

Lindt’s Chinese New Year edition will also be previewed in Singapore.

Lindt & Sprüngli Head of Global Duty Free Division Peter Zehnder said: “Travelling can be a special time for close friends and family. This is why we are delighted to be able to focus on Asian travellers with some new, innovative flavours and exclusives of our much-loved Lindt and Lindor products.

“A huge goal for us here at Lindt & Sprüngli is to drive market share in the Asian region and we feel our new launches do just that, whilst providing wonderful gifts for friends and family.”
