CHINA. Tax Free World Association (TFWA) has named a strong line-up of senior travel retailers as speakers for its TFWA Asia Pacific Hainan Special Edition, which runs from 21-24 June.
The event will feature an online conference on 22 June and a series of workshops on 23-24 June. Themes will include the evolution of the offshore duty free business in Hainan, among others.
Speakers will include Dufry CEO Julián Díaz, China Duty Free Group President Charles Chen, Lagardère Travel Retail Chairman & CEO Dag Rasmussen, DFS Group Chairman & CEO Benjamin Vuchot, ACI Asia Pacific Director General Stefano Baronci, plus speakers from IATA, TripAdvisor and Alibaba, and more.
The event will see the launch of a new online platform, TFWA 365, as announced last month.
