ISRAEL. Layam has been awarded the inflight duty free product supply contract for Israeli airline Arkia. The company takes over from previous supplier James Richardson.
Layam co-CEO Sharon Agubel told The Moodie Davitt Report that more new airline business will be announced by his company soon.
An operator of duty free stores in Tel Aviv Ben Gurion Airport and at the seaports of Haifa and Ashdod, Layam is part of the corporate portfolio held by Teddy Sagi Group’s private investment group, Globe Invest.

With its main base at Ben Gurion, Arkia is Israel’s second-largest airline. It operates scheduled domestic and international services, as well as charter flights to destinations in Western Europe and across the Mediterranean.
