Lancôme, Lagardère and HTDF partner for Summer Face Makeup pop-up in Hainan

Lancôme celebrated its hero Teint Idole Ultra Wear Foundation in style with this pop-up at the Hainan Tourism Duty Free Shopping Complex in Sanya

CHINA. Lancôme Travel Retail Asia Pacific has partnered with Lagardère Travel Retail and Hainan Tourism Investment Duty Free Co. to launch a Face Makeup animation in Hainan.

The activation, which was located at the Hainan Tourism Duty Free Shopping Complex (HDTF), showcased Lancôme’s hero Teint Idole Ultra Wear Foundation. It ran throughout June.

The pop-up featured an array of engaging retailtainment elements that educated shoppers on how to achieve camera-ready makeup using the Teint Idole Ultra Wear Foundation. These included a 3D interaction zone, a L’Absolu Rouge for Colour experience and a Virtual Try On space which enabled shoppers to experiment with different makeup looks.

The pop-up also showcased best-selling skincare and fragrance products from Lancôme. A vending machine was available so travellers could redeem samples of the Teint Idole Ultra Wear Foundation.

One of the campaign’s key features was a giant 3D animation which occupied the exterior multi-storey LED screen of the Hainan Tourism Duty Free Shopping Complex.

The pop-up’s reach was further extended on social media via a digital campaign which engaged with travellers through summer challenges and daily lifestyle hacks.
