La Prairie names Noelle Goris as Vice President Travel Retail

Noelle Goris takes over as La Prairie Vice President Travel Retail (Worldwide) effective 1 September

SWITZERLAND. Swiss luxury skincare company La Prairie Group has reorganised its Board Structure and appointed Noelle Goris as Vice President Travel Retail (Worldwide) effective 1 September.

Goris previously held leadership positions with Coty Luxury Travel Retail and P&G Prestige & Luxury Brands. She brings 23 years of experience in the FMCG and luxury sectors to her new role at La Prairie Group.

Goris will lean on her strong commercial background, direct and indirect customer management expertise, and international trade marketing management know-how to grow La Prairie’s market share in the travel retail sector. A skilled manager and team leader, Goris will also develop new ecommerce opportunities and digital strategies for the premium skincare brand.

She replaces Laurent Marteau who held the role for six years. During his tenure, Marteau helped establish La Prairie as one of the top brands in the luxury skincare category in travel retail. He also helped secure La Prairie’s presence in some of the world’s leading airports and strategically-positioned downtown duty free locations. Over the last year, Marteau has also been expanding La Prairie’s Europe and Middle East retail network.

Laurent Marteau: New responsibilities for the Americas, Europe and Middle East markets

Beginning 1 November and after the integration of Goris, Marteau will expand his responsibilities to cover the Americas, Europe and Middle East markets for La Prairie.

“I would like to take the opportunity to welcome Noelle to La Prairie,” commented La Prairie Group CEO Patrick Rasquinet. “In her, we have found the rare combination of expertise in international luxury, travel retail and commercial know-how. I am delighted she has joined our team.”

Rasquinet added, “In addition, I would like to thank Laurent for his strong leadership and energy in building up the Travel Retail business over the last six years and his continued dedication to our brand.

“His new role in charge of Europe, Middle East and the Americas, is critical to the future of La Prairie and I am personally very grateful to have someone of his experience and skills on our Board.

“I am convinced that this new structure will serve our all business partners and our clients well and enable us to deepen our relationships with stakeholders throughout our markets.”
