Dubai Duty Free and The Kraken Black Spiced Rum have teamed up in a Halloween-inspired promotion at Dubai International.
It is the first time the rum, which is named after a mythological sea beast, has been featured in Dubai. The 15-day promotion started on 1 October and highlights a 1-litre bottle of The Kraken Black Spiced which has a RRP of US$40.
Brand ambassadors are on hand to tell the Kraken tale, which involves a ship carrying large quantities of Caribbean black spiced rum being attacked by the monster. The rum was, according to the stories, later renamed after the Kraken as a tribute to the beast’s unchallengeable power and might.
