Flower power: Kipling’s Lily M handbag for autumn/winter 2005 |
BELGIUM. Kipling is introducing bags and accessories with “creative colours, easy functionality and effortless style” for autumn/winter 2005. The trend colours are winter white, ruby, amber and hazel.
Fresh designs are added to the Basic collection: a large multi-pocket crossover with three large compartments in the Europa model or a small but functional crossover with a front zip pocket in the Okay style.
New products have been added to the wallets and toiletry bags range: a coin purse in the Juicy model; a medium-sized wallet with separated spaces for coins, cards, etc, in the Jackson line; a medium-sized, compact toiletry bag for the Puppy model; and a deluxe make-up bag with two large departments for Top Secret, with enough space to store beauty products.
New prints are offered in the If collection, whose bags incorporate the famous poem from Rudyard Kipling on the inside lining. Flowers are displayed on a round clutch bag with fur lining and a gold zip (model: Tigan) and a handbag with an extra strap so it can be worn as a shoulder bag as well (model: Lily M).
The graphic Giraffe print is said to evoke earth, nature and the animal kingdom, on a small, rectangular crossover bag (model: Max S) and a medium-sized crossover bag (model: Max L), both with silver zips and fur lining.
Zodiac features symbols on a drawstring sports bag with extra zip pocket on the front (model: Taboo Tatoo) and a small pouch (model: Isi S).
To enhance the fantasy element, the company said, a shining star is attached to each of these models.
