Kappé launches digital kiosk pilot at Amsterdam Schiphol

The kiosks, currently in their pilot phase, were launched to blend physical and digital shopping experiences at Kappé Schiphol’s perfumes & cosmetics store in Lounge 2

NETHERLANDS. Kappé Schiphol has partnered with self-order platform specialist Jamezz to introduce a new pilot kiosk programme at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol.

The kiosks, launched on 14 June, enable travellers to shop for their beauty products digitally. They are located in the perfumes & cosmetics store in Lounge 2. If successful, the kiosk programme will be extended to other locations in partnership with Amsterdam Airport Schiphol.

Through the kiosks, passengers can search for their desired beauty and fragrance products, browse through product information and order via the kiosk without having to go through the entire store.

Once ordered, the items will be delivered to a special service checkout where customers can complete the purchase.

According to Kappé Schiphol, the next step of the pilot programme will be to introduce check-out services directly at the kiosk. In the future, Kappé Schiphol plans to enhance the kiosks with more functionality.
