Juxtaposing the ordinary with luxury: Moschino unveils Fresh scent

Moschino has developed its latest fragrance, Fresh, based on the idea of mixing high and low aspirations to present a luxury scent in something that epitomises everyday drudgery.

Described as a “surprising and ironic perfume”, the quirky fragrance features top notes of mandarin, bergamot and ylang ylang atop a floral heart of white peony and osmanthus. Base notes include clear woods, white patchouli and ambrox.

“The concept for this fragrance was to juxtapose the most mundane and commonplace of all products, the household cleaner, with something so precious – the juice of a luxury brand’s fragrance,” Euroitalia explained.

Moschino Fresh is housed in a flacon which looks like a cleaning product and is presented in a white box with gold detailing.

The eau de toilette is available as a 30ml, 50ml and 100ml and will be launched in the Americas and Caribbean travel retail market in the first quarter of 2016.
