Joe & The Juice enters Australian market at Sydney Airport

AUSTRALIA. Juice bar and café concept Joe & The Juice has made its Australian debut at Sydney Airport’s Domestic Terminal (T2), with a further outlet set to open in the International Terminal (T1).

Located in the T2 casual dining precinct, the outlet is the latest element in the transformation of the airport’s food & beverage offer.

The menu includes fresh fruit and vegetable juice combinations, made-to-order sandwiches and a signature coffee blend.

The company uses locally sourced ingredients in its juices. Heartbeet is a combination of avocado, beetroot, pineapple, banana and apple, while the Energizer blends red grapefruit, ginger and apple mix. Another item, Prince of Green, contains spinach, pineapple and apple, and is claimed to boost wellbeing pre-flight.

Joe & The Juice: An Australian debut at Sydney T2 for the fast-growing juice bar concept

Founded in 2002 in Copenhagen by CEO Kaspar Basse, Joe & The Juice now has more than 130 sites worldwide.

“Our bespoke concept is unlike anything Australia has experienced and we’re very proud to be launching two stores in such a dynamic environment as Sydney Airport,” Basse said.

The new offering at T2, Australia’s busiest terminal, complements other partnerships recently unveiled. These include high-profile burger brand Chur Burger by chef Warren Turnbull, the Lorna Jane Active Living Room by fitness guru Lorna Jane (showcasing the first yoga room at an Australian airport) and healthy eating concept SumoSalad Green Label.

As noted above, Joe & The Juice will also join the new City View premium dining precinct at Sydney Airport T1 alongside The Bistro by Wolfgang Puck, Benny Burger by Shannon Bennett and popular local eatery Kitchen by Mike.

“Sydney Airport is thrilled to be the first to bring the unique brand of Joe & The Juice to Australia. The new offering will provide customers with an exciting juice option delivered in a vibrant fashion, perfect for a pre-flight pick me up,” said Sydney Airport General Manager Retail, Glyn Williams.

“We’re transforming the food & beverage offering across Sydney Airport to deliver greater choice and value, while also ensuring our customers can access a great range of healthy options.”
