JES Travel Retail launches dedicated recruitment division for the industry

INTERNATIONAL. JES Travel Retail has launched JES recruitmenTR, a new division specialising in global travel retail recruitment. It builds on the travel retail vacancies and job seekers pages that are already a feature of the JES Travel Retail website.

The new JES recruitmenTR website jobs board is dedicated solely to the promotion of vacancies across all travel retail sectors. It also allows travel retail-experienced job seekers to promote their skills to retailers and brands free of charge.

Further, a service will be available for job seekers requiring assistance with CV preparation and interview technique coaching and training ahead of interview attendance. Packages for the service can be bought for durations of as little as one hour.

The website will also include highlighted roles within travel retail and a news section for those wishing to remain up to date on the latest travel retail developments in preparation for applications and interviews.

In addition, the well-known JES blog on the wider retail arena with contributions from retail and marketing experts around the globe can also be accessed.

The JES recruitmenTR office will be managed by former LVMH and Dufry travel retail manager Karen Noronha and will be based out of offices in the US, Europe and the Middle East.

Coaching and training services will be provided out of the UK, but will be available globally, through specialist travel retail training expert Christine Martin.

JES Travel Retail owner Tim Jobber said: “When we began promoting vacancies and job seekers on our main website we soon realised that there was a high demand for such a service as this did not exist on the internet in a single site format.

“The main website’s vacancy and job seeker pages generated traffic from 90+ countries over the past months and the communication has proven that there is, in a post-COVID world, a large number of vacancies in our sector and some exceptional travel retail experienced talent searching for such roles.

“We are looking forward to being able to work closely with brands and retailers to promote their vacancies via a unique website. I wish to welcome Karen and Christine to both JES recruitmenTR and the wider JES family.”
