JCDecaux Singapore introduces first Changi video projection advertising site

SINGAPORE. JCDecaux Singapore has introduced the first video projection site at Singapore Changi Airport for arriving passengers at Terminal 1.

The 35-metre Immersive Walkway has been first harnessed by InterContinental Hotels Group. Passengers arriving in Terminal 1 are greeted by advertising for the hotels group on both sides of the walkway to the baggage claim area and Jewel Changi Airport.

JCDecaux said the site has been designed to combine full-length, high-resolution videos with impactful static visuals to create an effective medium for brand storytelling.

InterContinental Hotels Group is the first company to utilise the dynamic space

JCDecaux Singapore Managing Director Evlyn Yang commented: “The Terminal 1 Immersive Walkway is an essential touchpoint for arriving passengers given its location in one of the main terminals, as well as its proximity to the offerings at Jewel Changi Airport. We expect this upgrade with video projection to deliver greater impact for brands through a deeper emotional engagement with audiences.”

Changi Airport Group Senior Vice President for Airside Concessions Teo Chew Hoon added: “As the region’s premier gateway, Changi Airport continues to introduce innovative ways to enhance the Changi experience. This brand new media space will greet passengers with dynamic and compelling visuals to boost their arrival experience at Terminal 1. Looking ahead, we are also exploring the possibility of adding audio and augmented reality to create an even more immersive experience for our passengers.”
