ITF celebrates nature with new scents from Blumarine and Dsquared2

Italian company ITF will present the latest fragrances from Blumarine, Dsquared2 and Trussardi at the TFWA Asia Pacific exhibition in May.

Blumarine Anna

New from Blumarine Parfums is Anna, a feminine fragrance that pays tribute to Anna Molinari, fashion designer and co-founder of Blumarine brand owner Blufin SpA.

For her new signature fragrance, Molinari – who has made the rose her symbol and icon – draws inspiration from the peony, a flower that is described by the House as “tenacious and delicate”.

Created by Alexandra Carlin and Maurice Roucel, the floral musky scent features top notes of water fruits, peach and apple; heart notes of peony, magnolia and rose; and base notes of sandalwood, musk, vanilla and Cashmeran.

The juice gives a pale pink tinge to the crystal bottle, which comes in silk packaging with delicately traced flowers.

Available as an edp in 30ml, 50ml and 100ml, Blumarine Anna also comes in a 200ml body lotion containing rose extract, peach extract and hyaluronic acid.

Dsquared2 Intense He Wood

This new masculine scent by Dsquared2 is inspired by He Wood, the first fragrance created by the Canadian designers.

Created by Daphné Bugey, the woody vetiver scent is described as a “powerful interpretation of nature” blending three key elements: air, water and wood.

Air is represented by silver fir, vegetal amber and musk, while water is embodied by violet leaves, violet blossom, transparent aquatic accord and incense crystals. Vetiver, cedarwood, sandalwood and guaiacwood make up the wood element.

The perfume bottle has a square design carved from Canadian Red Alder wood; the “˜veins’ and nuances of the wood make each bottle different. The name of the fragrance is laser-engraved on the front to resemble a label. On the back, the glass bottle reveals the distinct deep green colour of the fragrance.

The packaging’s natural cardboard box is detailed with a dark green shade. The linear and minimal graphic design of the front features the embossed Intense He Wood logo framed by a black label.

The fragrance is available as an edt spray in 30ml, 50ml and 100ml. The line also includes a 180g scented candle.

Trussardi’s A Way for Her and A Way for Him

Trussardi Parfums has launched A Way, a new line of fragrances for both men and women.

“A Way is a project that portrays new generations from an innovative, contemporary perspective,” explained Creative Director Gaia Trussardi. “It reflects a young, fresh culture in which individual expression is increasingly important for personal affirmation.

“The project was created to represent people with strong personalities and clear, brilliant, genuine, vibrant ideas. Charismatic but not individualists, they perfectly reflect the DNA and the ethical and aesthetic elements of Trussardi, which is always in search of new talents,” she added.

Trussardi A Way for Her is a floriental, fruity fragrance with top notes of bergamot, white tea and peach; heart notes of frangipani, tuberose and jasmine; and base notes of ambroxan, vetiver, musk, sandalwood and vanilla. The juice was composed by Lucas Sieuzac and David Apel.

Trussardi’s A Way for Her and A Way for Him are dedicated to “people seeking new horizons”

Trussardi A Way for Him is a woody, oriental and fruity fragrance created by Alexandra Kosinski. Top notes include bergamot, lemon and grapefruit; heart notes are composed of solar accord, breeze accord and green apple; and base notes comprise patchouli, blond woods and vanilla.

The juice is presented in a glass bottle featuring Trussardi’s greyhound logo. The bottle is covered by an aluminium shell – in gold for her and in silver for him. The greyhound also adorns the box packaging, which comes in red (for her) and blue (for him).

Trussardi A Way for Her and Trussardi A Way for Him are available as an edt in 30ml, 50ml and 100ml. The extension line for the former includes a bath and shower gel (200ml) and body lotion (200ml), while the men’s line comes with a shampoo and shower gel (200ml), deodorant spray (100ml) and deodorant stick (75ml).

The advertising campaign, directed by Federico Brugia and shot by Francesco Carrozzini, follows the personal journeys of two protagonists – one male, one female – and that poignant moment when their paths cross.
