ISG launches online pre-order duty free service with Aigle Azur

FRANCE. Aigle Azur, France’s second largest airline company, has launched an online pre-order duty free service with Inflight Sales Group (ISG), its inflight services partner.

As reported, ISG was awarded a full concession for duty free and buy on board sales with Aigle Azur last April, with a new programme beginning in June.

How Aigle Azur is marketing its new online services, developed by ISG, to shoppers.

The airline said in a statement: “This new service offers passengers more flexibility and the opportunity to enjoy interesting prices, as well as the delivery of their purchases directly on board in just a few clicks.”

The home page features monthly selections chosen by ISG and the airline, as well as featuring best sellers across a range of categories from fashion & accessories to beauty, confectionery and technology.

Orders can be made via the website aigleazur.com or at a dedicated boutique link at boutique.aigle- azur.com.

The airline carries close to two million passengers a year, with a strong blend of European and long-haul routes.

Aigle Azur carries almost two million passengers a year with services from five French cities (Paris, Lyon, Marseille, Mulhouse and Toulouse). Key markets include Algeria (Algiers, Bejaia, Constantine, Oran, Setif and Tlemcen), Germany (Berlin), Brazil (São Paulo), China (Beijing), Italy (Milan), Lebanon (Beirut), Mali (Bamako), Portugal (Lisbon, Faro, Funchal and Porto), Russia (Moscow), Senegal (Dakar) and soon Ukraine (Kiev).

The agreement with Aigle Azur builds on ISG’s presence in France after it previously won tenders for Air Caraibes and French Bee (formerly French Blue) airlines.
