International Beverage has launched a gift-with-purchase (GWP) promotion, featuring Balblair whisky and Iain Burnett Highland Chocolatier, at World Duty Free’s Heathrow T3 store.
The GWP activation, running until 31 January, offers customers a box of whisky paired velvet truffle chocolates from the Highland Chocolatier to complement the travel retail-exclusive range of Balblair vintages. The channel exclusive range comprises: 1999 first release, 2004 first release bourbon matured, and 2004 sherry matured.
Each pack has been specially designed to include a leaflet which highlights the chocolate pairings and tasting notes of each whisky.
Customers will receive a complimentary box of four specifically paired Iain Burnett Highland Chocolatier chocolates with a single bottle purchase, or a box of nine for purchases over £100.

International Beverage Travel Retail Director James Bateman commented: “We are pleased to introduce this unique gourmet experience as an airport retail promotion at World Duty Free in Heathrow Terminal 3. It offers travellers the opportunity to appreciate the pairing of exclusive Balblair Vintage single malt whiskies and premium handmade chocolate, both in-store at World Duty Free and to take it home.
“Both Chinese New Year and St Valentine’s Day are not too far away, and we all need a little cheer in a British January. The offer makes a lovely British gourmet gift for whisky enthusiasts and for chocolate lovers, with limited quantities available only in World Duty Free until the end of the month.”
