INCC Group prepares to launch Monaco Parfums at TFWA World Exhibition

French fragrance manufacturer INCC Group will showcase Monaco Parfums, the latest addition to its licensed luxury fragrance business, at Cannes next week.

Monaco Parfums is the first fragrance to be developed under official licence from the Principality of Monaco, with Monaco Brands.

Formed in 1990, INCC Group entered the luxury fragrance business in 2011 with the launch of the Mercedes Benz collection. This collection grew to include the Mercedes Benz VIP Club collection: five fragrances created by five Master Perfumers from the fragrance company Firmenich including Annie Buzantian and Olivier Cresp. VIP Club launched at Cannes last year where INCC Group CEO Rémy Deslandes announced that sales of Mercedes Benz fragrances had reached 1 million.

In 2016 INCC Group will launch Parfums Claudia Schiffer under an official licence with the German supermodel.

INCC said that it is different from other licencing brands, due to its focus on the quality of the fragrance behind the big brand name. Also, it noted its sole focus on fragrance, where other licensees diversify into fashion & accessories.

The skills of Master Perfumers play a key role, explained INCC Vice President Sales Thibaud de Vaulchier: “There is no way to legitimise a brand if you don’t have the right tools. You need a quality product first to build the brands on a long-term basis. We want to legitimise the brand with the perfumer behind it and surround ourselves with the excellence of the perfume industry. Our strategy is not just to drive sales but to drive qualitative sales in respect of the brands.”

INCC will be present at the TFWA World Exhibition at Stand K22, Red Village.
