ASIA. US travel retail specialist Imagination Unlimited International has gained two further notable successes for wines it distributes exclusively in travel retail.
As of June 1, Icewines from the Canadian vineyard Inniskillin will be available on Thai Airways domestic and international flights. Inniskillin Icewine has been one of the wine & spirits sector’s great successes in duty free over the past decade. It is now sold in many international airports such as Dubai, Bangkok, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taipei, Auckland, Paris, London, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Helsinki, Frankfurt, Toronto, Vancouver and throughout the US and the DFS Group network. The company recently launched a “˜Gold Reserve’ label – initially exclusive to DFS Singapore – at US$95.
Inniskillin is also listed onboard Air China, Korean Air, Philippine Air, Northwest, United, Delta, US Airways, Micronesia, Continental, Finnair, Air Canada, Air Transat, Zoom, Varig and Lan Chile.
Meanwhile, Imagination Unlimited International has successfully listed wines from top Canadian vineyard Jackson-Triggs Vintners onboard South Korean carrier Asiana Airlines on all long and short haul routes. Jackson-Triggs is owned by Inniskillin parent The Vincor group.
This achievement was announced by Lars Johansson, shown pictured with Jackson-Triggs Korean special agent Yong Min Kim, Asiana Airlines Head of Cabin Commerce Kyong Suk Suh and Woo Sang Lee, who is in charge of Asiana Airlines supply chain.
