PUERTO RICO. The travel world is beginning to open up again as stakeholders across travel retail adjust to a ‘new normal’.
To see the new travel retail landscape first hand, Dufry Caribbean Director Gustavo Barba has been working on the shop floor since the retailer’s store at Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport in Puerto Rico reopened on 1 June.
Barba said he is working three days a week as a Sales Associate “to understand the new customer behaviour and the real needs of the operation team”.
