Gebr Heinemann and BF&GH Travel Retail this week marked the 11th anniversary of their partnership in Ukraine, a year after a planned tenth anniversary celebration was postponed due to COVID-19. Our image on this page (via Gebr Heinemann on LinkedIn) shows senior management from the two companies at a special event in Kiev.
The joint-venture partners run travel retail shops at Kiev Boryspil and Zhuliany airports alongside 13 border shops in Ukraine.
Gebr Heinemann CEO Max Heinemann said: “Ukraine is an important market for Gebr Heinemann and we are proud of our operations here. We will continue to invest in our current infrastructure, starting with some shops at Boryspil Airport in 2022, and will continue to expand the business.”
The companies opened their first stores at Kiev Boryspil Airport in December 2010, as reported.
