SPAIN. Following the success of the first male fragrance Mandarina Duck Man, Idesa Parfums has launched the special edition Mandarina Duck Pure Black.
Pure Black is described as an edt for a man “who is a prime example of the modern world: active, practical, independent, up on the new trends and with an urban style”.
It is a fragrance for “a seductive, self confident man with a natural charm”, with an enthusiasm for new designs and materials, the company added. The black colour is meant to reflect the brand’s new leatherwear collections for men.
Created by perfumer Nathalie Lorson (Firmenich), the fragrance is described as a contemporary scent with classical highlights.
The fragrance’s top note contains notes of indian pepper enhanced with a hesperides cocktail of bergamot and a note of tangerine. The middle note comprises tonka beans, enriched by Tahitian tiare flower and orange blossom. The bottom note is a blend of noble woods such as mysore sandalwood and atlas cedar, with a touch of Madagascar vanilla.
The bottle is dressed in matte dark grey, with a dark background contrasting with the shiny black letters and shiny black cap.
The fragrance is available as a 50ml and 100ml.
