AUSTRIA. Umdasch Shopfitting will take full ownership of Croatian shopfitting company ATT Furnishing in a bid to strengthen its competence in the fitting out of international retail brands in the luxury segment.
The deal will be completed by the end of the year but the purchase price remains confidential.
ATT Furnishing was founded in 2009 by Ivan Tvrdeić and his wife Davorka. The company employs around 60 staff members in two locations: Zagreb in Croatia and Belgrade in Serbia. ATT carries out shopfitting solutions from value engineering to international project management in cooperation with famous international architects and designers.
ATT Furnishing will be integrated into Umdasch’s Premium Retail Division and will be led by Kruno Filipovic and Roman Fußthaler. Fußthaler has worked for Umdasch for 20 years, over five of which have been as the Head of the Premium Division, which is controlled from Oxford in the UK.
Premium Retail Division customers include Christian Dior, Roja Dove, Ferrari, Nike, Etro, De Beers, Dufry Group and Dubai Airport.
Umdasch Shopfitting Group CEO Silvio Kirchmair said: “The customer portfolio and the production possibilities of this luxury manufacturer are an ideal match for the growth strategy of Umdasch Shopfitting in the premium and travel retail sector.”
ATT Furnishing owners Ivan and Davorka Tvrdeić added: “Umdasch Shopfitting is a family firm, just as we were. Our values fit together perfectly. We have a good feeling about handing over our company to Umdasch.”
