Ian Macleod Distillers (IMD) has signed an exclusive distribution agreement with Distribution Spirits Company (DISC) to represent IMD brands in Americas travel retail.
The partnership will see IMD extend its global travel retail footprint beyond EMEA and Asia Pacific.
In line with IMD’s domestic presence, DISC will initially focus on US travel retail, in particular key airport hubs and cruise ships.
Over the past six years, the independently owned spirits company has focused on establishing its presence in the EMEA and Asia travel retail markets. Key brands include Edinburgh gin, Glengoyne, Tamdhu, Rosebank, King Robert II and IMD’s Speciality Malt Collection.
IMD has a particularly strong franchise in UK travel retail with Edinburgh Gin.

Founded in 2021 by former Edrington SVP for Americas Travel Retail Juan Gentile, the Miami-based distribution company operates in the Caribbean domestic markets and travel retail. DISC was established in partnership with regional distribution company Promo International Inc.
