CHINA (HONG KONG). Hong Kong International Airport this week (1 November) celebrated the opening of two of its three flagship duplex luxury stores, Hermès and Louis Vuitton, with Chanel to follow on 7 November.

The trio of openings represents a key moment for Airport Authority Hong Kong as passenger traffic continues to recover after the pandemic-driven slump of recent years.

Louis Vuitton and Chanel are new stores while Hermès has been transformed from a single level to a duplex format.

The openings form a key element of the refurbished East Hall Luxury Zone.

Other luxury brands including Burberry, Cartier, Gucci, Omega, Prada and Tiffany & Co. have already reopened their stores at Hong Kong International Airport.

The airport’s beauty retailer, Beauty&You by The Shilla Duty Free, and liquor and tobacco retailer Duty Zero by cdf, are also back in operation.
