JAPAN. A new commercial complex that houses Japan’s largest airport hotel, an open-air bath, and an array of retail and food & beverage outlets has opened next to Tokyo’s Haneda airport, according to Kyodo News.

Among the stores that have opened to date are Victorinox, Guess, Esthe Pro Labo, Beauty Connection, and a wide range of other popular local brands and restaurants.

The long overdue opening of Haneda Airport Garden comes amid Japan’s efforts to lure back tourists after the country’s long-running and tough travel restrictions were eased last year. It was initially scheduled to be unveiled in April 2020 but was delayed by the pandemic.
