Hainan Expo set to make welcome return in 2022

CHINA. The China International Consumer Products Expo (Hainan Expo) is set to return in 2022 after a triumphant first showing this May (7-10), The Moodie Davitt Report can reveal. The final dates will be confirmed soon.

The inaugural Hainan Expo was an extraordinary success, attracting over 240,000 visitors and 1,500+ exhibitors.

With over 80% of this year’s exhibitors having stated their intention to return to the Hainan Expo, places are strictly limited at the 2022 event

The Hainan Expo covers multiple retail channels, industries and business sectors.

The Moodie Davitt Report will be working closely with Hainan Provincial Bureau of International Economic Development (Hainan IEDB), the organiser of the Hainan Expo to promote the event internationally. As reported, Hainan IEDB is also a co-organiser of The Moodie Davitt Report/FILTR.QINGWA-run Virtual Travel Retail Expo this October (11-15).

With over 80% of this year’s exhibitors having stated their intention to return to the Hainan Expo, places are strictly limited at the 2022 event, Hainan IEDB Global Media Officer & Senior Supervisor Ruslan Tulenov* told The Moodie Davitt Report.

He said that the follow-up Hainan Expo will feature a wide array of new innovations, including a much bigger focus on high-quality Chinese brands and a broader array of categories and zones.

Brands from all around the world can discover more about the Hainan Expo 2022 and Hainan’s offshore duty free sector in the ‘Hainan Discovery’ zone at the Virtual Travel Retail Expo in October. Hainan Provincial Bureau of International Economic Development (Hainan IEDB) is hosting the zone and also co-organising the Virtual Expo.
