SOUTH KOREA. Hotel Shilla Co is to create a new Travel Retail Business division as part of a corporate restructure.
The new unit will be led by Ingyu Han, recently promoted to President of Hotel Shilla Co and Roberto Graziani, former President of The Nuance Group, who joined Hotel Shilla Co in March this year.
The company said it was making the move “to focus its industry expertise and increase global competitiveness”.
Both Han and Graziani have been appointed Presidents of the Travel Retail Division and will report to the CEO.
President Han will lead the South Korean business while overseeing Finance, IT, Legal and Human Resources functions globally.
President Graziani, based in Singapore, will be responsible for the International business and expansion and will lead the global strategy, strategic marketing and communications and buying and merchandising functions.
The well-regarded Jeong-Ho (Jason) Cha, Senior Executive Vice President and Head of The Shilla Duty Free, is stepping down from his lead role after an illustrious term leading the company’s growth. He will continue to work as a senior advisor to CEO Bu-Jin Lee and have close contacts with Han and Graziani.
