Global Exchange becomes Spanish leader with new Palma de Mallorca opening

SPAIN. The Global Exchange Group is introducing a new foreign exchange outlet at Palma de Mallorca International Airport this month.

With the new opening, the Spanish multinational company said it becomes the market leader in its native country, where it is already present at Madrid Barajas and Alicante airports.

Palma de Mallorca, in the Balearic Islands, is one of Europe’s key holiday destinations.

Global Exchange Group President and CEO Isidoro J. Alanís said: “Starting operations in Palma de Mallorca is a noteworthy milestone for our company and a noticeable example of our specialisation in the tourism market at international airports.

“From now on, we will have the chance to offer our first-class foreign exchange services to the millions of tourists from all over the world that visit every year one of the most beautiful and fascinating regions of our country.”

The incorporation of Palma de Mallorca in the Spanish airport portfolio is another step forward in the global growth of the Global Exchange Group.

Apart from operating in the European market, the group is a leading firm in Latin America and the Caribbean (Argentina, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Jamaica, Mexico, Nicaragua, Paraguay, Saint Lucia, Trinidad and Tobago, and Uruguay) and has an increasing presence in other strategic regions such as Northern Africa (Morocco) and the Middle East.
