Foreo opens brand store on Korean ecommerce platform Naver

The Naver Brand Store opening is in line with Foreo’s strategy to expand its digital marketing activities in 2022
In a brand first, Foreo is launching its new acne-banishing device Espada on the Naver Brand Store via livestream

SOUTH KOREA. Swedish beauty tech and wellbeing house Foreo has opened a ‘Brand Store’ on South Korean ecommerce platform Naver.

Unlike the ‘Smart Store’ which serves as an online shopping platform to showcase small-to-medium brands, the ‘Brand Store’ is only available for top-selling brands on Naver.

In addition to offering the full range of Foreo products, the brand launched its new Espada device on Naver. The launch marks Espada’s debut in the South Korean domestic market.

Espada was launched via livestream, another first for Foreo, on 22 March and featured other Foreo hero products, the Luna Mini 3 and Iris. The livestream also featured special deals which are available exclusively to audiences of the livestream.

Espada is an FDA-cleared medical device that uses laser-focused LED blue light and T-Sonic pulsations to prevent acne-causing bacteria and breakouts before they occur. The device reduces pimples and spots on the skin’s surface and is made with antibacterial silicone featuring a smart skin sensor. The Espada simulates the skin’s micro-circulation, accelerating skin renewal.

The opening is in line with Foreo’s strategy to expand its digital marketing activities in 2022. To celebrate the brand store opening, Foreo is offering various promotions and discounts which are exclusively available at the store.

Foreo Global Travel Retail Director Gary Leong commented, “Live-commerce is the marketing trend of the future, and post-pandemic, we have seen a skyrocketed demand for increased online visibility. Our new Brand Store speaks volumes for our success on Naver, and we hope that the opening of our official Brand Store will further increase our communication channels with domestic customers.
