Foreo extends inflight listings to include three major Asian airlines

Swedish beauty-tech brand Foreo has secured new inflight listings with Eva Air, China Airlines and Hainan Airlines.

The listings follow Foreo’s debut at the TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes last October.

The brand has also expanded its product line-up with the Cathay Pacific Airline Group, to have its UFO and Luna Mini 2 devices featured in Emporium Magazine for Cathay Dragon and Discover the Shop for Cathay Pacific.

Foreo’s UFO beauty-tech device has taken off with several major Asian airlines.

Foreo noted “dramatic” 116% growth in the inflight sector during 2018, underlining the brand’s successful foray into travel retail. Foreo products are available in over 200 duty free stores in 23 countries.

The brand launched its UFO last year. The device – described as the world’s first ‘smart mask’ – claims to offer spa-level facial treatments in 90 seconds, with seven different types of UFO Activated Masks.

Each mask is paired with a pre-programmed UFO treatment routine, catering to all different skin types and concerns. Foreo said its UFO Activated Masks are developed and formulated by leading Korean skincare experts to offer a “combination of Korean beauty trends with Swedish beauty technology”.

As reported, has partnered with Duty Free Americas to open a retail space at the Venetian Macau Resort Hotel, and with DFS Group to open a new outlet at T Galleria by DFS, Saipan. The brand said the new stores reinforce its presence in the Asia Pacific region.

Foreo’s expansion plans in global travel retail were highlighted recently on The Moodie Davitt Report.
