
SOUTH KOREA. Swedish beauty tech company Foreo has partnered with Shinsegae Group to launch a promotional campaign on the Korean retailer’s ecommerce platform, SSG.com.
The campaign, which ran for seven days, featured an ‘Experience Group’ competition, with Foreo’s LUNA Play Plus and Micro-Foam Cleanser up for grabs. The competition invited customers to comment on why they loved Foreo and why they deserved to win the prizes. Five winning entries were chosen out of 2,000 participants.
Some noteworthy customer entries included: “All my favourite YouTubers use the Foreo Luna, and I was so satisfied when I used it in the past, so I’m excited to try the Luna Play Plus! As an office worker who wears makeup every day, cleansing is important to me. This time, I want to experience Foreo properly, and introduce it to everyone I know!”
Another customer commented: “I have never used a cleansing device before, so I’m excited to try it. My pores are bigger and I’ve noticed that my skin has become oilier since wearing a face mask, so I pay more attention to pore care. I feel that if I wash my face with a cleansing device, it will be more effective than regular cleansing.”
The campaign underscored Foreo’s strategy to expand its digital presence with interactive campaigns and engage with customers online.
