UK. Barbour, the quintessentially British outdoor clothing brand, opens its first ever UK travel retail store at London Heathrow terminal 2 this month. Occupying 400sq ft (37sq m), the new store lines up in the T2 area featuring other lifestyle clothing brands such as Timberland and Bally.
The new store stocks Barbour’s trademark wax jackets and a selection of woollen and cashmere knitwear, shirts and accessories such as silk scarves and bags.
Founded in 1894, the Barbour name has become synonymous with the best of country living.
BAA retail director UK airports Colin Hargrave commented: “Barbour has a strong following in France, Italy and Spain; all destinations that are well served by the terminal. We’re really pleased to welcome Barbour and look forward to a successful partnership with them.”
