Sustainable salon-performance haircare brand Fekkai has taken its first travel retail steps with DFS Group.
Initially Fekkai will be available in DFS’s airport stores in the US along with the Hong Kong and Macau T Gallerias with a view to developing in more locations as international travel recovers.
Fekkai’s six core ranges are now available with DFS. These are the Technician Color, Brilliant Gloss, Full Blown Volume, Super Strength, Shea Butter and Apple Cider Detox lines.
Commenting on the partnership, DFS Group Senior Vice President Beauty Amael Blain said: “We are pleased to partner with Fekkai to bring the latest in innovative and sustainable haircare to our customers in North America and Asia.

Technician Color boosts colour vibrancy, Brilliant Gloss enhances shine and reduces frizz, while Full Blown Volume gives fine hair weightless volume. Super Strength repairs hair damage and breakage, Shea Butter adds intense moisture for dry and or curly hair textures, while Apple Cider Detox removes product build-up.
Fekkai’s newest range, the Clean Stylers Collection, is joining the DFS offer this month. The line is a trio of high-performance plant-powered styling products that can be used individually or together.
All of Fekkai’s formulas are vegan, gluten-free and cruelty-free and are free from parabens, sulfates, silicones and phthalates. The brand’s packaging is 100% recyclable and made up of 95% recycled plastics.
Since relaunching as a clean and sustainable brand in 2020, Fekkai has repurposed 64 million grams of post-consumer plastic waste for its packaging, saving the equivalent of 330 tons of plastic waste from going into landfill.
