The number eight is traditionally considered to be lucky in Asia, and features prominently in Estée Lauder’s new Nutritious Vitality8 Collection: eight key ingredients, eight products in the collection, the promise of results in eight days leading to eight signs of healthy skin.
The new products join a Nutritious range that has been on the market for over a decade.
Formulated to help skin damaged by environmental aggressors recover a radiantly healthy look, the key ingredient of Nutritious Vitality8 is the new Pomegranate8 Complex. The anti-oxidant benefits of pomegranate were a feature of the original Nutritious products and now the new complex claims to have intensified those benefits in its combination of nutrient-dense pomegranate, mangosteen, super berry ferment, vitamin C and vitamin E. Inspired by traditional Chinese medicine, the philosophy behind the collection is “beautiful, radiant skin comes from healthy, well-balanced skin”.
The aim is to detox the skin while infusing moisture, energy and nutrients to restore a natural look of healthy radiance. The four additions created for Asian skin are: Radiant Energy Lotion (in two versions: Fresh Moist and Intense Moist), Radiant Energy Mist and Pomegranate Glossy Lip Balm. All the products feature the signature Nutritious fragrance which has notes of sparkling grapefruit, Chinese orange, cherry blossom and lotus flower.
Radiant Energy Lotion – Intense Moist
This rich moisturising lotion promises dual-action hydration and preps skin to receive the benefits of the other products in the Nutritious skincare regime.
Radiant Energy Lotion – Fresh Moist
Containing the same dual-action hydration formula and Pomegranate8 Complex as the Intense Moist Energy Lotion above, Fresh Moist offers users a lightweight and refreshing version.
Radiant Energy Mist
A lightweight, energising mist, this pomegranate infused formula refreshes and hydrates. Designed to be spritzed either straight onto bare skin or over make-up, it comes in a travel-friendly, portable bottle.
Pomegranate Glossy Lip Balm
Pomegranate, mangosteen and vitamin C combine in this replenishing balm that moisturises and smoothes while adding a soft pink glow.
Tested on 100 Chinese women in China, Estée Lauder reports very favourable results for its new range. For example: “After using Nutritious Vitality8 Radiant Energy Lotion – Intense Moist for eight days, 99% of women believed it reactivated all eight dimensions of radiantly healthy skin”. Those eight dimensions equal skin that looks more: hydrated; nourished; energised/vibrant; calmed/soothed; radiantly healthy; supple; refined; and smoother.
