Emirates partners with iCoupon for digital vouchering programme

iCoupon’s growing portfolio of airline partners now includes leading Dubai-based carrier Emirates

UAE. Digital vouchering platform provider iCoupon has added Emirates Airline to its client portfolio.

The partnership will allow Emirates to use iCoupon’s automated vouchering system to compensate delayed passengers. Importantly, Emirates Group company Emirates Leisure Retail and Emirates Fast Food Company (which manages McDonald’s franchise outlets) are added to the iCoupon network.

The deal includes new features and functionality, as well as new capabilities to support numerous meal deals across retailers, iCoupon noted. The company said the agreement also provides support for local contractual sensitivities with global retailers.

The addition of these two companies further expands iCoupon’s presence across Emirates destinations, providing greater coverage for its existing airlines which also fly to these destinations.

iCoupon’s platform uses contact-free technology to transfer the value of vouchers given due to flight disruption directly to the passenger’s boarding pass.

The company’s fully digital service simplifies the voucher redemption process, and no longer requires them to download or obtain any printed documents.

iCoupon said that its platform is designed to provide passengers with efficient and stress-free services in case of delays.
