Dylan Turquoise: Euroitalia unveils sustainable female fragrance from Versace

The new fragrance was made with 85% biodegradable ingredients. It is now available in selected travel retail and domestic markets. 

Euroitalia has unveiled Dylan Turquoise, the new sustainable female fragrance from Versace.

The perfume — made with 85% biodegradable ingredients — was developed in line with green chemistry principles and the latest biotechnology research.

It is now available in selected domestic and travel retail markets with a wider travel retail rollout scheduled for March.

Dylan Turquoise is produced and packaged in Italy using FSC-certified traceable and sustainable raw materials. It also comes in plastic-free packaging.

Dylan Turquoise is the latest addition to Versace’s Dylan Blue pour Femme and pour Homme fragrance line.

The ‘vibrant and glowing’ scent was created by Perfumer Sophie Labbé and belongs to the floral, woody and musk olfactive family.

Labbé said, “Versace asked me to create a vibrant and glowing fragrance which combines tradition and modernism, just like the fashion house. I wanted to create a luxury fragrance using the highest quality ingredients that combines sustainably-sourced ingredients with very modern and innovative molecules.”

 

Dylan Turquoise opens with mandarin essence, lemon primofiore essence and pink pepper top notes, followed by fresh accords of guava juice, jasmine petals, freesia and blackcurrant heart notes. It finishes with dry down base notes of clearwood and musk.

Clearwood is made from sugarcane and is the first synthetic ingredient produced using biotechnology processes. It combines amber and woody notes without any earthy or camphor traces.

The fragrance bottle design takes inspiration from Greek mythology motifs and features Versace’s signature Medusa Head logo

The Dylan Turquoise fragrance bottle was inspired by Versace’s design codes and features motifs from Greek mythology. The flaçon comes in blue frosted glass with pale gold details and an aluminium cap. The cap is embossed with Versace’s signature Medusa head logo and is engraved with the name of the scent. Baroque-inspired letters that spell out ‘Versace’ are engraved onto the top of the bottle.

According to the brand owner, the campaign was inspired by a Mediterranean holiday theme. It was captured on a remote island in Sardinia, where Bieber is joined by fellow Versace Dylan Blue brand ambassadors Bella Hadid and Louis Baines.

The campaign film — directed by British/Canadian filmmaker Gordon Von Steiner — uses fluid, circular camera work to mimic the movements of the sea.

Dylan Turquoise is available as an Eau De Toilette in 30ml, 50ml and 100ml formats. It is also available as a Perfumed Hair Mist 30ml, Perfumed Bath & Shower Gel 200ml and Perfumed Body Gel 200ml.
