Dufry joins forces with The Moodie Davitt Report in Ukraine humanitarian relief project, Travel Retail United

SWITZERLAND/UKRAINE. Dufry Group has joined forces with The Moodie Davitt Report to support Travel Retail United – a pan-industry humanitarian fundraising campaign to help the Ukraine relief effort.

As previously reported, all revenues raised from the strictly non-political project will go to the Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal in association with the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC). Donations will help families living as refugees with food, water, hygiene items and other vital supplies.

Dufry Chief Executive Officer Julián Díaz said: “Dufry is pleased to support and join this initiative and together with The Moodie Davitt Report we are also encouraging other members of the travel retail community to participate.”

The Moodie Davitt Report Chairman Martin Moodie said: “We are pleased that Dufry has thrown its weight behind this important humanitarian initiative and thank them for their support. We hope that the wider travel retail community will also rally behind the project.”

To donate, please contact Martin Moodie at Martin@MoodieDavittReport.com to arrange funding through a dedicated account [we have had an encouraging response to our announcement and will be revealing more details of that response in coming days -Ed].

Note:

  • Donors can pledge anonymously

Or

  • As reported, The Moodie Davitt Report is also producing a special apolitical publication to accompany the project. Instead of traditional advertising, donors (individuals or companies) can provide an image (photo, painting or drawing) or a piece of writing (poem, excerpt or original message) to appear besides a subtly positioned brand logo (if required).

There is no fixed price for any donation or advertisement but please be as generous as possible. The Moodie Davitt Report will be making a substantial cash donation as well as absorbing all freelance design, editorial and distribution costs. Every cent raised will go to the fund with appropriate documentation provided to each donor.
