Diverse Flavours to showcase Japanese sake in Cannes

Kinshi Masamune Matsuya Kyubu Junmai Daiginjo is produced in Kyoto.

South African wine and spirit specialist Diverse Flavours will once again exhibit Japanese sake at the TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes.

Included are new products from Sakuramasamune, one of Japan’s oldest Sake makers, and a new range from Kinshi Masamune.

Sakuramasamune, which started brewing sake in 1625, is headquartered in the Nada district in Kobe, Hyogo prefecture: the country’s most famous sake brewing region.

Products from Sakuramasamune on show in Cannes include Aramakiya Tazaemon – Junmai Daiginjo, Traditional Junmai, and Sparkling Sake Dry 200ml.

Diverse Flavours will also be exhibiting a range of sake from Kinshi Masamune of Kyoto. The products on show will include Matsuya Kyubu Junmai Daiginjo, Junmai Ginjo, Tokubetsu Junmai, and Kinkaku Honjozo-Shu.

Kobe sake expert Yumi Hayashi will be present at Diverse Flavours’ stand (Red Village, L34) to discuss the range.

For the first time Diverse Flavours will also showcase the Kinmare Daiginjo Genshu, which was awarded the Hyogo Trophy in the International Wine Challenge 2018 Sake competition.

Sakuramasamune is a specialist from Kobe, an area renowned for sake production.
