Diverse Flavours lives up to its name in TFWA Asia Pacific line-up

Diverse Flavours will present a range of South African wines and highlight two Japanese sake brands at the upcoming TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition (Basement 2 D34).

Diverse Flavours said its wines offer a variation of regionalism, diversity, history and taste profiles.

Groot Constantia wines feature in the Diverse Flavours line-up for the Singapore event.

Avondale underlines its ‘soil is life’ motto in a range which includes Navitas, La Luna, Cyclus, Samsara and Jonty’s Duck Pekin Red/White while the Cederberg line-up includes Shiraz and Chenin Blanc.

Both wineries have First and Business Class pouring wines on six of the World’s top ten airlines, including ANA, Singapore Airlines, Asiana, Cathay Pacific, Etihad and Emirates. Avondale Cyclus is being poured on Emirates Airlines and Cederberg Sauvignon Blanc on Asiana.

Kleinwood Estate’s Tamboerskloof Syrah is destined for the Singapore spotlight.

Wines from Delaire Graff Estate, dubbed the ‘Jewel of the Cape Winelands’, will feature along with those from Deetlefs Estate and Ernie Els.

Ghost Corner from Elim, South Africa’s southernmost winery, is known for its Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon and Pinot Noir. Groot Constantia, Kleinwood Estate, the makers of Tamboerskloof Syrah, and Napier wines are also included in the Diverse Flavours portfolio. The Napier Red Medallion is well known in Japan and Asia after featuring in the Japanese wine comic book, Tears of God.

Diverse Flavours will also highlight its own 88 Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot Medium Sweet wines.

Kobe sake specialist Sakuramasamune presents its Aramakiya Tazaemon-Junmai Daiginjo.

The company’s sake range offers products from Sakuramasamune, one of Japan’s oldest sake makers from Hyogo Prefecture, and Kinshi Masamune, from Kyoto.

Sakuramasamune started brewing sake in 1625. Brand highlights at the Singapore event will include Aramakiya Tazaemon–Junmai Daiginjo and Sakuramasamune Sparkling Sake Dry. Kinmare Daiginjo Genshu will also be featured.

Kinshi Masamune products will include Matsuya Kyubu Junmai Daiginjo, Junmai Ginjo, Tokubetsu Junmai, and Kinkaku Honjozo-Shu.
