A Lotte Duty Free spokesperson said: “Exclusivity is one of the key pillars of our retail offer at Singapore Changi. This exclusive Deanston bottling is exactly the kind of highly desirable limited edition which resonates with shoppers looking for something different and brings excitement to the dynamic single malt Scotch category.”

“We’re delighted to partner with Lotte Duty Free to offer this exclusive bottling of Deanston to shoppers at Singapore’s iconic Changi Airport. Bottled at cask strength having been finished in a rare Palo Cortado cask, this bottling should appeal strongly to existing Deanston drinkers but also whisky connoisseurs who appreciate this kind of natural presentation which highlights the quality of Deanston’s spirit and benefits of meticulous cask selection.”

The expression has a nose of chocolate and dried fruit, candied orange, oak spice, vanilla fudge and gentle fruity sherry. The liquid delivers typical Deanston notes of honey and a deep maltiness that are balanced with the sherry influence bringing mulled spices, orange marmalade and toasty oak. The finish is fruity with floral honey and a lingering note of sweet vanilla.
